Sereg Females?

Post by Velvet Embrace » Tue Dec 28, 2004 4:51 am

If the information should just not be known yet, just say so and is fine for me, but are thier Sereg females yet?

With breaking away from the T'Nanshi army after the recall, they moved to the underdark and raided elven camps for females to breed with to continue thier race.

Do Sereg females exist only as breeding slaves. Are they killed at birth and only pure elven females are used to breed the next generations of Sereg? Or are they indoctrinated into Sereg sociey as equals now?

I ask mainly cause the answer will affect a character bio. Not playing a Sereg (already know that's a no-no  ) but is a factor in the history.

Thanks.

Sereg are essentialy made from elf males, using magic rituals and conditioning. The only females in the sereg areas, are slave elf females, kept for breeding purposes.

Thier history states that they are now a race unto themselves due to genetic changes from thier conditioning.

Perhaps a better question would be are the Sereg born Sereg now, or do they still go through the conditioning to become one?

Decree:

No female sereg will be seen in Avlis, unless it's in a weird plot that Silk thinks up.

Don't want to play a Sereg female. Just asking information for backgrounds and history.

Sereg were created back during the time of the great war, and they were the product of conditioning. Over time the genetic enhancements made them break away and be their own race, however it is still possible to make sereg by conditioning regular elves. Plus even the ones born genetically as sereg still need the mental and physical conditioning.

It has nothing to do with that. Any sereg plus human equals half-sereg. All sereg are genetically sereg. It's the method of HOW they got genetically altered that differs. Some are born with it, and some are changed. They are all the same in the end.

And I HOPE everyone sees the hint that if a half-sereg PC ever pops up it is going to be relentlessly griefed by sereg-spawn-happy DM's for as long as it lives. The sereg are a specialized black ops race that has developed the art of intelligence gathering for a millenium. No matter how well you hide, you will get greased.

Take the hint.

Basically, the closest thing to a sereg female is a slave used for breeding :s

Silk quotes, from the Sereg forums:
I have not fleshed out female sereg, so they don't have a strong background.
Female Sereg are very much oppressed. An escaped female sereg would certainly be brought back to the fortress the first time a sereg were to spot one.
Female elves were captured from villages and put into a breeding sector...
And one from myself...
A female Sereg has no place out of the underdark - they are used for breeding and nothing else, and seeing as I can't drag you back there..
Soooo, yeah.... breeding machines. Nothing more. There was a thread posted about a half-Sereg in the Sereg forums also *look at choraldances*... they were greased.
