No! Do not be embarrassed! I understand what you were trying to do, and I don't blame you. See folks, fighting in animal forms as a druid is pretty much a lost cause, because a level 9 druid in bear form with an AC of 13-15 is pretty much going to get pummelled by anything worth fighting. Tangle and I both started our characters back before HotU, so there was no shifter class for druids who enjoyed spending time in other forms. Tangle was really just trying to make his character concept viable, which even with the advent of shifters in HotU, I still question how viable they are (they are basically a melee class with a terrible BAB and far fewer perks than, say, the monk class, which is comparable in terms of hit points and BAB).Tangleroot wrote:Yeah, I have a bio somewhere. Also, 10 months or something ago, I was also a lot dumber![]()
Avlis is a learning experience.. And that also means I'll never get any more of those monky levels even though in my 'youth' I dreamt of at least 8 or 10
So now you all know my embarrasing secret.
Anyway, I wouldn't be embarrassed about trying to make your character more playable back in the olden days of pre-HotU NWN.
