I've not had the pleasure of being DM'd yet by Deider, but I want to pipe in here as I'm already really excited about joining one of his groups!
The setup/background information requested for the Friday group has really made me stop and realise how much history one of my characters has, and being able to compile that into an overview with motivations and flaws/goals/objectives makes me really appreciate the work he's putting into his storytelling. So thanks Deider for being interested enough to ask and care about this stuff, I can't wait to see what you have in store!

Was a great time and glad I was able to make it. Was hard to not laugh from start to finish. Hopefully this is not the last anyone has seen of the dread pirate Captain Knottybeard and his crew. Or at least his other crew? maybe?
Anyways , thanks Deider for a great event and also to the rest of you , my fellow players. The RP was great!

Yes that was a totally unexpected trip to the Amber Dragons. And what can you say about gnomes that has not already been said. So thanks for the fun!

Cheers for Deider and the broken portal to the Plane of Water.
What started as typical chatter in Zvid ended up with a group of 3 stalwart adventurers helping a gnome close the portal.

I've really loved the Friday afternoon sessions with Deider. His NPCs come to life, without exception, and he handles the atmosphere and mood expertly. He's also patient and lets the storyline go where the characters take it, which makes you feel comfortable and empowered as a player. You can tell he has a ton of experience on both sides of the game.

I really look forward to our weekly session with Deider, and when his characters pop up. The only downside is the withdrawal after one of his sessions. And, as everyone knows, the only antidote for Deider withdrawal is more cowbel-err, more Deider, baby!
Currently on Eastern Time - 5 GMT.
