Who is Yeraiah?

Post by Buddha » Fri Apr 08, 2005 5:36 pm

Team,

I'm working on a little development project, and am seeking info on Yeraiah. She is referenced here, here, and here on the forums, but there is no discussion of her sphere of influence. She is also not listed in the Player's Guide.

I noticed that Orl included her in the D20 Sourcebook outline here, so I'm hoping you've got some info set aside on her. I'm specifically interested in the relation of Yeraiah and Rangers. If I got this in the wrong forum, sorry, and please move it to the right place...

She is in the Players' Guide. Look in Part II, Chapter 3, Section L: Jechran.

Yeriaha was the wife of Mikon. She took on some followers and helped them to survive in Jechran. This was before Dre'Ana became their Patroness.
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.

this thread has a more complete listing of the deific chart. Here is what it has to say on her:
Yeraiah N Any female Fertility, Femininity, & Strength Lesser Earth, Healing, Strength

Ah, the infamous dual spelling. I should have tried that. Anyone want to make a call on whether it's Yeraiah or Yeriaha? My vote is Yeraiah, if anyone cares.

So if her sphere is "Any female Fertility, Femininity, & Strength Lesser Earth, Healing, Strength" what would be a good tie-in to the Ranger class on Avlis? If you look here, you'll see she isn't mentioned. However, Orl's description of the core classes, he lists her as one of the possible gods/goddesses for Rangers.

Feel free to ad lib, because if you don't, I'll have to on the description that I write.
