Bug Tracker (Registration Approval)

Post by tizmo » Mon Apr 02, 2018 12:15 am

Hey Avlissians!

We have transitioned the Bug Tracker to a new tool called Redmine. All existing bugs were migrated along with all existing users. If you had a user account on the old bug tracker, you will have to reset your password before you can post a bug on the new Bug Tracker. You do not need a user account to view the bugs in the Bug Tracker.

The new Redmine Bug Tracker includes a Wiki with some helpful instructions, I recommend that you give the Wiki page a quick read. Please let us know if there is anything needing improvement in the Bug Tracker Wiki.

Update 2021: If you are only registering now, please send a forum PM as below.

Hey all !

I want to inform everyone that creating accounts in our Bug Tracker is no longer fully self-service. Now, when you create a new account in the bug tracker, it will tell you that "your account has been created and is pending administrator approval". When you see that, please use your Avlis forum account to send a PM to Tizmo and Hamlet as follows:

Subject: "Please active my new Bug Tracker Account."
Body: "My email address is: USER@DOMAIN.COM and my username is: PLAYER1." <-- replace your email address and username into this sentence.

We love your bug reports, but we had to lock it down because evil botnets were causing us problems.

Play on!

If only one could go on a quest to slay all the evil botnets because I would be all over that! Stupid evil botnets!
