Avlis as typing tutor

Post by Vanar Alhaldren » Wed Mar 09, 2016 10:22 pm

So, when I started playing here years ago I was very definitely a two finger (ok, two to four maybe), hunt and peck typist. Trying to keep up with rp conversations of all sorts IG motivated me to slowly work on my abilities with the keyboard a bit at a time. Now I am a passable touch typist, for the most part. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it has proven very helpful over the years. So, yay to gaining RL skills via Avlis!

Brief hijack on this comment because I haven't posted about it this year: we didn't do irreverence awards for 2015 because my December was Super Specially awful and I never found time or inclination for it. We cut the best typer award a while ago anyway.

There'll probably be a set at the end of this year, barring further disaster~

Scary thought. What else would you use? :flucht:
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.
