world.avlis.org:5123 is where the traffic is at the moment... Elysia!
But Elysia is for pot-smoking elves and fairies!

You make that sound like a bad thing

Welcome to Avlis. Elysia is the one to start with usually - unless you are one of those wierd lawful types, in which case try Mikona.

CG - Elysia - Dru'El = FUN
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.

Elysia is a more naturally oriented city than Mikona. That's not to say that PCs of any type couldn't exist in either, its just to say that the atmosphere is much different. I prefer mikona more as a player and it probably has the noob friendliest dungeon around if you can find it. Really, either Mikona or Elysia is a good place to start out, and then a bit of branching out beyond that is up to you. There will probably be someone to show you around in either case (don't be afraid to send someone a tell and asking for a bit of help or to meet up, saying that you're new either)

In the end, just have fun but don't break the rules (but choose Mikona) :)

Ferrell... its where all the high halflings are at. 8-) Not to mention Fishing.

Elysia is always a good start, just becareful and not get lost. Mikona is alright too, if you like a lot of Evil, and Lawful bastards running around. Funny that I've seen more Evil people running around Mikona, than I did in the underdark.

And Welcome to Avlis!

Mikona is not just for lawfuls, and not just for evils.

There's a good mix of all sorts on Mikona, just like anywhere else. Why is "where alignments gather" a concern anyway? That's not what Ablus is about. It's about the melting pot of characters with different points of view reacting to the challenges of the world, not about segregating ourselves into the "good" and "evil" or "lawful" camps.

Underdark is more than the Verloghokbol Pleasure Palace, you know.

CG - Elysia - Dru'El = FUN
That's fuzzy math. I'll switch up the formula:

CG - Elysia - Dru'El + Maleki = FUN

Muahahahahaaaaa!
