Respawn screen does not appear..

Hi all. I would appreciate it if u could advise me in this:
I dont get the respawn screen/window upon death in Avlis. Is this normal or I have made a mistake somewhere?

People say that I have to have this screen in order to get raised or to respawn in TNanshi and not in M'chek when i die in wilderness. I guess this is true, so how can I reactivate it?

This is normal. Instead of getting the options to respawn, it is automatic. If you get ressurected before it fires, then it won't send you to the death plane (this is akin to the healer grabbing your soul when it's close to your body).
