playing while waiting for a restore

I 'm waiting for a restore and i'm patient enough to wait as long as it takes of course... but theres RP things I can get on with quite happily without need for my equipment... so I buys a cheap scimitar and some clothes, few potions and I can still go RP with my friend. I realise any items I pick up while doing this will go in the restore, thats not a problem. Question is what happens to xp i pick up? I even gets me a nice DM cookie last night for me RP so ... do I get to keep that? Also, I'm very close to leveling up, if I do will it cause any problems?

It reverts back to whatever you had at 5:00am that day you asked for the restore. So anything, including items and XP, that you gained after 5:00am on that day will be lost.

thats ok ... still want to RP anyway ... and I guess If I level up then I'll be delevelled, but again I dont mind, I was more just worried it might cause problems than anything but it doesnt sound like it does.
character development things cant go away and i can concentrate on them at the minute.

Only other thing, If I'm playing my character at the time Orl goes to do the restores will it prevent him doing it?
