I have a question about a basic detail that I never got a solid grasp on.
Is a unique language spoken in the area that was the Kurathene Empire, or do they speak the same tongue as M'Chekians? I thought if they did have their own language, latin or some derivative of latin would fit the Roman theme.
That would potentially add some cool flavor, like doing prayers to Toran in latin and incorporating some latin words into things.

I like to imagine Kurathene having some elements of Tsarist Russia also, but that is mainly wishful thinking I fear.

Kurathene language is basically Common, but you should remember that it is Common which has been used exclusively by Romini ancestors who later became the nobles of the empire and were brought into close contact with Dracon. So it's gonna have a flair to it.
