Where are Sanctuary/Zelvan Dur?

I don't mean, "How does my character reach these places?"

I mean, "Where are these places located?"

Is Sanctuary a pocket plane made by the old Nanshilae mages to house the mage school city of Zelvan Dur (and now is used by druids to protect endangered animals)? (or maybe encased in a pocket plane after the city fell victim to some horrible fate?)

Is Sanctuary in some far off land, or far away in T'Nanshi?

Or is Sanctuary underneath Le'Or, but so inaccessible in terms of geography that you can't walk from the Roots, and have to take a portal?

funny ... I remember getting told IC its in another plane when it first got put in. Would be good to know.

Arandil would be best qualified to answer this one, since he created most if not all of it, but I do recall something about it being a pocket plane of some sort. No idea who or why or how it was created though.

The NPC that gives the related quest to the Sanctuary describes it as being "under Le'Or" if I remember correctly.

The thing to remember is that the Roots were added quite a bit after the Sanctuary, so maybe that's why thee's a bit of confusion.

Could just be that the Sanctuary's in some undisclosed location within the T'Nanshi woods, so as to better protect the endangered animals kept there.

It's not below LeOr, but is on Avlis, just a long way away, so you need to use the portal to get to and from it.
