Celestial Navigation on Avlis?
More of a general question, primarily for a fanfic I'm writing.
Are there reference points in the sky or constellations which would be used as a basis for celestial navigation by ships on Avlis?
Doesn't need to be an exhaustive list, but maybe some constellations, star names etc might be nice to have for simple background material and for IG dialogue.

I think it would be safe to say you need to stop being so damn exacting and just make some shit up.
Maybe there are constellations of the Big 9 or something, figure something out and just go with it would be my advice.

Actually, I kinda wondered this too...
Is there a moon? How many? Names?
While all of the social information on the site is wonderful, alot is kinda taken for granted.
What color is the sky?

One moon (similar to our own), one sun. 24 hour days. (That's somewhere on this forum). The years are essentially the same as earth years as well (That's also somewhere on this forum).KaiRal Windspar wrote:Actually, I kinda wondered this too...

No one's ever asked about the sky color, that I know of, so I always assumed it's blue. There used to be 2 suns in the pre-NWN days of Avlis, but that was changed to 1 later, and so is now always to have been 1 sun throughout Avlis history. Also, I've never heard the moon given any name except "the moon", aside from other languages having their own names for the moon.
