shifters
How will shifters work on avlis?
Forian is the god of changelings, but doesnt allow for druids.
will shifters be expanded to perhaps allow classes other than druids to become shifters?
im building a new shifter, wanted to go with forian for the diety, but having to take a druid is really screwing this up.
shifters seem to me on avlis, to need to be setup to have different prerequisites than the current HoU setup.

Ashzz,
When I made Gallix, I thought about making it so
that he could be a shifter, but decided against it,
because Forian has no Druids.
I decided to make a cleric with one of his Domains
being animal (for the change-shape spells)
It would make sense that that his devout clerics
should be able to change their shape at their will,
but since the Shifter is a druid specific prestige
class, I don't think that the forianites should have
access to it. Maybe instead, the levels of the
confounder Prestige class could include shapechanging
abilities after they reach level 7 in the class.

wrong wrong wrong
Changelings is a RACE.
Shifters is a prestige CLASS.
NO relations, shifters don't have to be changelings, changelings don't have to be druids/shifters.
MIsty can not become a shifter unless she's a druid
Misty is not a changeling because she's human.
Misty is a Forian worshipper, period, cleric of Forian, period.

There will be a quest to become a Shifter, though it's not a Holy Warrior and won't be limited to Shemathen members.Vroshgrak wrote:maybe shemathen can have the quest to become a shifter. it could be our holy warrior. ARRRRR vrosh is dying to be a shifter. Must resist leveling up. or just enable it for those of us who truely are deserving.
Oh, and Forian has nothing to do with Shifters AFAIK. Don't let the similarity between the changeling race and the Shifter class confuse you.

I understand that constant pestering about these things can quickly become annoying, but..
Could someone at least give some sort of timetable on when this kind of quest could be implemented, Rough Estimate? I don't think I can handle 4 months of waiting in ignorance, knowing that the class is also going to be "fixed" like Orleron said.

well.. once we actually upgrade to HoTU, the first priority is getting all the bugs worked out. once that is done the lower priority things will happen, but as to a specific timeframe, there is no way to let you know right now.Tangleroot wrote:I understand that constant pestering about these things can quickly become annoying, but..

personally, I would rather see the remaining Avlis Holy Warrior PrC get implemented first, but that is just my opinion...
