1. no idea, didn't know you could.
2. under [display options] enter

AllowWindowedMode=1

and change FullScreen=1 to FullScreen=0

3. in nwplayer.ini under game options you need

ClientChatLogging=1

maybe wouldn't have been that extreme as to uninstall and reinstall myself but if you've already started.... if you are getting the missing hak message then it really just is a case of checking the neverwinter nights\nwn\hak folder on your pc. if the file that is reported as being missing [cep1patch...

also remember that the update will have updated your nwmain.exe which your firewall will treat as a new file altogether so you will have to allow it access to the internet again.

sounds like you need to check all your hak files again. i would pay attention to the avlis_ext_hakset which seemed to be server orientated. the cep1.52 should be simple enough. it isn't really an install though. you just need to copy over the haks after downloading and extracting the files. the link...

if you are running a firewall have you given nwupdate.exe access to the internet?
what does the dialog window say when you try to update? it should tell you the version that you are running and then start giving you feedback when you click on the update button.

its called nwn.ini not nvn.ini but i trust that was a type. in the nwn.ini you will have a header that says [Display Options] if the AllowWindowedMode=1 line is not there just add it in below the last line of the [display options] section. to clarify the line should be - AllowWindowedMode=1 hope thi...

IC there is no way that anyone would be able to ask you if you want raised or not, so if you're travelling with a party and die and they raise you against 'your wishes' then you really just have a couple of options : i. suck up the xp loss and get on with it ii. find other travelling companions iii....
