You select it on the radial menu(on by the hotkey). It is not automatic. You sacrifice all other attacks to deal +1d4 damage, so you're essentially getting a +2 to +8 strength bonus at the expense of your other attacks.

I've played a little on Dasaria. It is an interesting group of servers. I like the way that they have players log on. When you log over there, you start in an OOC tavern, at which you can sparr, and do other things without having IC repercussions.

Is it posible to add an animation to HIPS? Not that it would really make any difference balance wise but it should would be cooler. If we could add the shadowsheild animation to HIPS that would really make it look like the shadow dancer was pulling shadows to them to hide. That would just kick ass....
