So, simply put, See through hear----solid see/hear. If I am wrong someone please correct me  (( of course not including concealment )) thanks. That seems right, as I understand it. So, with the exceptions spelled out, it would be: A "solid" avatar means that your character sees the other char...

"Seeing" hidden or invisible PC's
Sometimes, when an invisible or hiding PC stands next to me, I can "see" them, only they are kind of transparent (you know what I mean). I've always been confused about whether this means I heard them or saw them. Is there anything in the game engine that would tell me whether I heard or saw them?

Actually i think she's holding out quite well...2 crashes in 4 hours for such a huge event... yes, I agree!! :) yup. Including the pre-event event we managed 13 hours of server intense action with a total of 4 crashes. :D That's damn impressive. And the small amount of lag was easily manageable. Yo...

Thanks everyone! I had almost escaped, Dirk, but I went over to Deider's house and he showed me how much fun it was to spawn Orcish Pimps and mess with Leopold. So I decided right then that my career would have to be put on hold, and I had to become a DM so I could spawn more Orcish Pimps! Look out,...

I don't know, I think it's just that the 1st level of the PrC is really awesome. I can't pretend to tell the future, but I wouldn't think changing True Seeing again would deter many folks from taking this PrC. As for solutions.. *shrugs* Maybe make the quest harder? (Spoken from complete ignorance a...

Well I rolled up a wizard to test out some of these spells on Elysia. Results: As has been said, an hour/level spell translates into 2 real-life minutes per level, and a round/level spell translates into 6 real-life seconds per level. The funny thing is that the minute/level, turn/level, and 10minut...

Reminds me of how annoyingly confusing the spell durations in NWN are. You've got: round/level, minute/level, hour/level... I think there are some that are 10 minutes per level too right? *brain explodes* Am I right in thinking that a minute is the same as a turn? Wait a second, hmm.. That would mea...
