After six years here I can now say I caught the annual April Fool's at the subject line.

Most useless key ever. Microsoft has a wizard to do it quickly and easily. This is one of the first things I do on a clean install.

I'm a video game tester. It's a really easy job to get but doesn't pay well and in my case at least the hours are sporadic.

I'll probably end up just deleting my hak folder (or at least most of it) and then installing the new ones. Other thing to be aware of is that toolset doesn't work in Crossover games. There might be a Wine solution for this, but I don't have the time or interest to pursue it, so I run a whole second installation of NWN +haks in Windows, via VMWare Fusion. Crossover is actually a modified version of Wine ...

That's NWN 2. HotU and SoU both run on Mac. I don't have any problems with NWN on Snow Leopard aside from no toolset.

Thirdly, is it strange that I'm building a brand spanking new pc with the latest or next to latest technology and hardware and my major concern is whether it runs an 8 year old game properly? I did the OC and HotU twice each I think. SoU twice too, but once was with my level 16 post-OC PC so it was super easy.

Character sheets are notorious liars, for shapeshifted PCs in particular.

I can't cast when shifted via druid ability, but I can when I take the shape of something as a changeling :) Correct me if I am wrong, but items with haste on them do not exist on this server, am I right? So wouldn't automatic quicken spell be something that any caster would want? Or does everyone ...

Yeah. It was already a little extreme. Large shields are +2 AC, -2 armor check penalty while tower shields are +3 -10. Fortunately the shield users I build never have an issue with weight or armor check penalties.
