My character was crafting on Elysia and suddenly I got a message saying that I have lost my shield (a Dragon Shield).

I can not find it on my character and it is not present on the floor. Would it be possible for a DM to help with this please?

I have lost count of the amount of times that has happened. You go through a transition after chasing someone and then suddenly you have lost them.
