Re: The Omni-Present Currently Playing Thread

Excuse me please, one more drink...

Just in case you don't read the YouTube thread, and thanks to Audacity, this is now in my mp3 collection...

Absolutely poignant. I've got no heartbreak at the moment, and this still nearly breaks my heart. Acoustic. Guitar. Lyrical skillz. Sing it, Dave.

Re: Animals Random Walking and Persistent Storage

First, how do you make animals which are static to an area, not encounter spawns, randomly walk? Not looking for way-points, just have them walk around a bit. Right-click them in the toolset and go to their properties. Add the variable X2_L_SPAWN_USE_AMBIENT as an int variable with a value of 1 to ...

Just to be clear, Orl did exactly as I wanted, plus some. I wanted him to use the artwork for free, no artwork cre...

Purchased the hard copy and then after eight hours of work I came back and sat around for 20 minutes before finding out how impatient I am >> Heh. Turns out I suck at waiting too, and I even had a draft word doc of it. Oh well, a draft, a pdf and a hard copy ensure that I'll always have one handy. ...

See my edit. I'm not sure there are even full sized cards that advertise support for 11.

EDIT TO THE EDIT: Looks like Radeon has some out. But, meh. Direct X 10 will be fine.

That one is lovely, unfortunately, it doesn't "go up to eleven." :D Win 7 fields Direct X 11, but then again, Direct X 10 is way beyond what you need for NWN. That card should work fine and be fairly impressive. EDIT: Now that I actually look, I'm not sure that there IS a viable video card that supp...

Is it in a PCI-E slot? If all you need is a low-profile PCI-E card, they can be had for anywhere from ~$35 - $110 on Newegg.

Secret Doors -- How Do They Work?

Ok, I've been mucking about with secret doors a bit, specifically a trap door. I've figured out how to draw the trigger for the area where you can actually sense it. I've tied that to a waypoint that then makes a secret trap door appear. Now I'm kind of baffled. Does a secret door behave like a norm...
