I don't think I have ever felt such dread after being successful in an adventure.

On 25 Feb 2018, when Auryna started with Deider's "Hump Group" party, I had no idea what a wild, almost 6 month, ride she was going to join. AJ as a character has grown and developed in ways I've never expected, from little things like taking favored enemy dragon to middl-ish things like hitting level 40, becoming a granite dragon herself, and developing quite a few new relationships (of different types) with so many new characters, to big things like the MIND BLOWING EPIC conclusion to her conflict with her 'arc-nemesis', learning a lot more about her family's past, and discovering how to once more find true love.

It's been a crazy, crazy time and I'm so very grateful to Deider as a DM and to everyone on my 'team' (however losely we use that term   ), and especially all of the yummy IC bonding/conflict that's stemmed between Auryna and each of you. Every moment has been an ooc blast, even when ICly it was traumatic. Auryna may be moving on to the next 'new thing' in her life, but I would be greatly remiss if I did not pause to ravity-rave the whole experience. :liebhab:

Keep it up, gang!! :sauf:

A long time ago when I first really got into Avlis, my first " real" character got to be DM'ed by Deider, and here I am now, with my latest " real" character getting to be in one of his plots. Every Wednesday night has been a fun surprise for these last months. I hope it doesn't end, but if it does, well, he's given me so much inspiration and ideas for where to take my character. It's been such a blast. Being dm'ed by this guy not only makes me a better player, but also a better DM in my own tabletop games. Huzzah Deider! :prost:

What I'm wondering is, what happened to Deider's trademark Server Pauses? They used to happen twice an afternoon, and things just don't feel right without one.
