The World of Avlis

I was just wondering about certain races. My trademark is to always play a black-skinned, white-haired elf at every server, but because this is a password protected server I thought it might have the option to play a drow. I tried doing elf subrace Drow Elf and elf subrace Drow so I guess it is not up. If there is the script allowed on this server, how do I get to it, and if not, will it ever happen?

Drow elves do not exist in the world of Avlis.

Really? Oh. I have 3 characters then that do not exist. Is there any way to change skin tone and hair color after creating a char? My one is already 3rd lvl with a few really good items, and I don't want to just scrap him because he looks like a drow. Maybe you should put something on the main page for new players on Avlis for what does and does not exist on the server. I would hate to see someone have the same problem I have.

Actualy unless your characters say they are drow they aren't so they exist. Just because they are dark skinned and white haired does not mean they are drow.

Also we shouldn't have to post what doesn't exist because if you can't pick it you shouldn't be playing it.

It is ok to give your character a biography that makes him from a different world other than Avlis. Just explain how he got there. We will not, however, implement drow abilities or characteristics for a long long time, if ever.
