Besides shurikens, are there any exotic missile weapons in NWN?

Not standard, no. I think CEP might have added one or two in, but I don't think so.

Darts as they're implemented aren't. If it was blowdarts, though..

Not that I've seen. There are many cool "variations" of shuriken though. Stuff both in the Avlis pallette and CEP I think, but all of them use the shuriken as the base weapon. Zach collects odd shuriken.Manuel the White wrote:Besides shurikens, are there any exotic missile weapons in NWN?

How about Hedgehogs.....dire rats immersed in a vat of ice crystals......small trees......old ladies still holding their crutches.....marshmellows.....very, very ripe fruit.......?

What was quite standard in some of the older D&D games were the ranged weapons that return to the wielder. Magical throwing axes or daggers usually, but here's a few alternatives;
Boomerangs.
Winged arrows.
A Bee launcher.
Bats with Pins sticking out of them.
Blow pipe that fires poison tipped mosquitos.
Crossbow bolts with legs.
Dimension Dooring Anvils.
Think about it.
