Hello, I am Balor the owner of Jotsc - See title. This is hardcore module based on the sword coast. We are currently still in development. We will be done about halfway through april. This is simply to build up a player base. One of the main features will be Perma death. When you die your body is dropped on the floor ready for someone to raise you or loot your items. Someone can destroy your body if they are feeling nasty and kill you forever. This will happen automaticly after 3 days. While you are dead you will be transported to the fugue plane where you shall remain till someone raises you.
Other features will include
Bleeding
Hardcore DMing - Which means no dm kills they must use monsters to kill you. No taking away gold using tools they must pickpocket you.
A Paticulary cold or hot area may mean you have to take a save. You are damaged if you do not.
Guard race system - If you are a half orc and not wearing a helmet. You will be challenged. Also drows nto wearing gloves or helmets will be attacked on sight.
Other features shall be added in future. Here is the forum for those intrested in playing or helping.

Perma-death is not CoPaP allowed.

Of course if Jotsc is non-copap it wouldn't matter.

AH! I see, a world where griefing is allowed.....
Balor sez:
Someone can destroy your body if they are feeling nasty and kill you forever.
Just what I always looked forward to, after the months/years it took to grow my char.
Good luck to you, but no thanks for me.

i agree with that 99%... back in the D2 days, I would play the regular charecters and have a blast. But when I played hardcore charecters...you get more of a rush when you play ( yeah make fun of me if you want, that I get rushes from some video games

) a charecter that only has one life.

I prefer permadeath in single player, where only your own mistakes will kill you.

Nope, not really. I even went to the site to look it over
Permadeath is just interesting topic always.
Anyway, reading ads like this is good... it tells that Avlis is known at the community, and also tells that NWN community is still alive and breathing. And I'm too lazy to go through persistent world directories, so this is about the only way I'll hear of these places.
