Sorceror & Wizard

Ok, I have a LOT of thoughts on this area, but before I voice them (if I voice them) I have a few questions to ask.
Are MetaMagic feats implemented? Which ones? Item creation is probably out for the most part, but what about Brew Potion and Scribe Scroll?
(Begin mindless drivel here: )
Metamagic feats are to me, one of the things that can make a sorceror quite powerful, as he does not have to plan for every metamagic combination before using them, he can combine them on the fly while a Wizard must do quite a bit of planning in this. On the other hand, wizards get access to a huge amount of spells and can scribe many of these (preferrably the lower level ones, to save in cost and experience) into scrolls, which allows him to cast them without spending a spell slot, and therefore make more efficient use of his more limited spells per day, as well as his need for spell prepartion.
