Can anyone tell me very specifically how to test things in NWN? I am curious to try out a few character configurations, but don't know how to create a PC of a certain level and class with specific feats, etc.

Thanks.

Easiest thing i find is, open toolset, create a largish area. Slap a NPC in there and script it to give you a level everytime you speak to him. Then play around with it.

If you dont know the script, i will post it when im at home, or someone else can *shrugs*

script =

Code: Select all

void main()
{
GiveXPToCreature(GetLastUsedBy(),10000);
}

Of course it would be easy to just go to NWVault and download a character leveler that someone else has already made for you. Searching the site for something like "leveler" or "character generator" should do the job.

Good suggestion. That other script stuff scares me.

Thanks.

I suggest PM wrath your email address. and get an already made model!

Who needs a lvl up lever when you can... Keel elf! We here at elf keelers R' Us proudly present a modestly funished lvling module.

it even has a different lvl 40 in each corner to test your mettle against... Of note... I never did stand up to the gnome, only ever won by luck, and pimp jumping him instead of a fair fight.

all the gear you could ever want or find on avlis is in the chest right next to you!

Guess I could add more different type/lvl spawns if you needed, maybe.

That one does sound mighty good. If they got an elf killing option in there somewhere I may just retire my mod.
