Looking for players from Kurathene

I'm interested in speaking and playing with players who have characters "from" kurathene. I've started a character whos modeled after a soldier from one of the provinces/states (?) in the Kurathene Empire with a view to maybe bringing a new albit small player based faction to the war. the idea i'm going for is more geared towards a roman military/chain of command/atmosphere. Maybe mixed with some greek influences ie city states.

If anyones interested in giving me a hand or making a character to play along please let me know on the board or through a PM. I could use the help both historically and applying it to the game.
Also if the staff have any Do's/Don'ts or guidelines i'd appriciate hearing them too.

Cheers

Talk to Peregryne Twostep (Chasman) and Michael al'Aere, (pretty much retired... long ago) both in the SoT, both from Kurathene.

My char is also from Kurathene, but she's old and bitter, for many, many reasons.

Good luck.

When you have a small base that is interested in setting up a fief in the Kurathene, please tell me, and PM me with your folk's info. :)

As I understand it the general shape of the country is laid out as shown on the world map on the homepage.

I've also seen a map of the country that shows the layout for the various fiefs, but it has a strong "under development" feeling with still some blank spots that need filling up before it can be called done. As usual I wouldn't expect this to be released to anybody except developers until it's definite.

What Sindol said. The name of the fief's are filling up in the Kurathene empire. Before they're developed, it won't be released as IC knowledge.

If your group is interested in starting a fief, tell me, and we'll work with you :)

that is good news. I've seen what can happen when players group together and make a notional country, only to have it not fit in properly to the world setting and have to start over.
Its difficult attracting people initially to what is just an idea but i have 2 or 3 people who have already expressed interest. It'll probably become much easier in the future if any more information about Kurathene, the fiefs and their traditions become public knowldge but i'll see what I can do with what i have.

As I said in the PM, there are information in the World Information Forum. :)

Also, if you're looking to be based in Kurathene without running a fiefdom yourself, I'm sure any one of the people buliding one would be happy to include you into their court.

I am Valdmor the Barbarian.
My Orc mum work in pub on Brekon-Kurathene border near waves.
Pub called "Drink Me Pretty".
She say my dad was Kurathene Centurion that drink too much Head Crackin' ale.
I bored with protectin' pub so I walk, and walk, and now like Mikona.
But I do miss mum & pub sometimes...
My blade thirsts, me walk some more...
Where you like?
