Cant portal into Mythos

when i try to portal to Mythos i get this
client 0 portaling
charecter file unable too transfer (error has occured)
portaling cancelled
could anyone tell me what is wrong ....please
i have recently taken an apprentice ship and need to travel thier..
it will be most appreciated *bows humbly*

Probably a time-out on the file transfer, did you check to see Mythos was up at the time?
There is a whole whack of help scattered through various threads regarding portaling both here and on the Mythos Forums.

i wa with Guido and he was portaling back and forth to check if that was the problem...but thanks anyhow..
any help is beter than none at all

your character name is too long...
it still doesn't work for a name longer than 16 characters as far as I know..

it has been stated that the long name issue has been delt with yet why do i recieve the same error
client 0 portaling

i do not wish to cause problems ...only have questions answered

there are some who have needed to be DM killed and then rezed in order to successfully portal now.. no one seems to know why exactly though..

I got the same error while trying to portaling to Mythos and my name is less than 16 characters.
Anyone can help me to solve the problem?

Read the Dev forum..no one is travelling right now. Its being worked on.
