Druids of Dagath

*drags out a dead horse and a club to flog it with*
I tend to like lawful characters and would like to play a druid. The other day I noticed that there is no real lawful deity options for druids. Except maybe Dagath. I am under the impressions that Dagath's followers can be of any alignment, and that Dagath is one of the few deities that can give druids spells.
So, Is a LN druid of Dagath a possibility? If so would he have to be of the order of rebirth?

Yes that is a perfectly finr alignment for a druid of dagath and you can be any order you want.

I'm logged in as a LN druid of Dagath who is a member of the order of death right now.

rebirth seems to fit with my char, especially being against undeath and all that. I have some more reading to do though for sure.

Now, now, the order of death don't have to be undead loving. And look, people are building metropolisis in the middle of mountain ranges and for lack of space for more people, and this is even after a hundred year war. Surely any reasonable person would agree that the only sensible choice in this day and age is the order of death.

from what I understand, all worshippers of dagath are anti-undead because the undead break dagath's cycle. undead are seen as an abomination. (spelling?). So yeah, anti-undead could be order of death, life or rebirth, its one of those tenets that all dagath's agree on. (more ore less) but I could be way off as usual.

A death priest will generally see undead as normal people who are stuck in the "death" phase of the circle.
From the Deities entry for Dagath.

Perhaps this has been changed in the druidic deities since I last looked, suppose over a year ago, but before Orleron stated that Dagath had only true neutral druids.

I'm pretty sure that is not only incorrect now, but always has been; but if you could find a quote it would be helpful.

Elhonna is a FR goddess. Please don't bring any non-Avlis gods into Avlis. There are only a few that exist in this world from the other worlds.

But Orl's
posted more since then based on the sourcebook he's developing. This is probably the most in line with what it should be.

Game Rule Information: This class is as described from the rules given for it in the Player?s Handbook. Alignment is an important consideration for clerics on Avlis. While worshippers? alignments may differ significantly from their deity, clerics? alignment must match that of their deity in all cases except the god Dagath, whose clerics can have any alignment. More information is given in Chapter 4: Deities. Also, see Table 2-1 for a list of deities and their domains.
Druid rules wrote:Game Rule Information: This class is as described from the rules given for it in the Player?s Handbook. Note that there are some differences in allowed alignments for this class. Druids on Avlis may be of any alignment, and unlike clerics, their alignment does not have to coincide exactly with the alignment of their deity. It can vary by one step in either direction. So, for example, a druid of the god O?Ma, who is Neutral Good, can be Lawful Good, Neutral Good, Chaotic Good, or True Neutral. Druids are granted spells and powers by their deities in the same manner as clerics, and aligment is important for maintaining a deity?s favor. Falling too far away from the allowed alignment for a given deity can result in a loss of granted spells and abilities.
Even that post doesn't explicitly answer the Dagath question, but since the intent is to have druids
less restricting than clerics, you could make a good case to allow any alignment for them. Even if not, the "one step" rule lets you go LN, NE, TN, NG, CN as a Dagath druid.

I am indeed glad to hear this for my druid can now be a dagathian follower like he always claimed. It only took two and a half years to get it but I am glad none the less.

Also, am I correct in assuming that dagath is the only option for a lawful druid?
