Question about Druids & Dieties

Im shure this question has been asked before
So can druids in Avlis be from pratically any diety? Every time I look into this it keeps giving a list of the Gods that have a domain in Nature... I was wondering if a druid could be from Senath, or Vorin, or non-nature related dietys.
If not then please give me a link, or tell me a list of the dietys Druids/Rangers can get their powers from.
I read everything posted about druid God's and such and this is why I was wondering this:
They are not worshipers of Balance, like they were portrayed there, but are much closer to being like clerics of a given god, they just focus on the natural world, rather then the civilized one, so this effects their opinions and outlook.
Druids and Rangers gain their spells from the god(s) they follow, much the same way a Cleric or Paladin does. It does not come from nebulous force of nature, or the earth itself.
What im getting from this is that Druids are supposed to be like Clerics, only with a focus on nature and their diety, rather than civilization and their diety...
One other question, can people serve a God not of their race
IE: Human serving Valok, or Elf serving Mikon. Toran too, is he only limited to having Dracon followers?

You probably saw this but just in case...

The relevant part is...
Not all gods on Avlis can produce druids. In fact relatively few can. They are:
O'Ma, Dru'El, Pelar, Dre'Ana, Titanea, Dagath, Skern, and Verossa.

If you find that your alignment is not represented for the druid you want to play, speak to me because I have a few more not-so-developed gods on hand as well.
I was hoping a Lawfull Neutral character would be possible to play as a druid, should I PM Manuel about this?
Another question, does the characters alingment have to actualy match their dietys in Avlis... I understand opposites wouldnt be possible, but say a chaotic good serving a true neutral?

I could be wrong (and I'm not staff!), but I think that druids of dagath can be lawful neutral, because dagath allows any alignment. Here's a link to a thread that has info about Dagath in it:

What alignment is a Verossan druid supposed to be anyway? Last time I checked Verossa didn't seem to be of a druidic alignment.

I read Verrosa is CE.... and if thats true that means all druid followers would HAVE to be a diffrent alingment....
Well that answers my question... but still, Should I E-mail Manuel about those unlisted dietys?

Clerics and druids must match the alignment of their deity, with Dagath being the only exception. Some deities will accept mere followers of slightly different alignments. See the deities chart.

Verossan druids should be CE. That said, there are obviously engine limitations that will interfere with the druids ability to level.
Until there is some way to eliminate these inconsistencies, you can either be of identical alignment, and ask a DM politly to help you level if they're available. Otherwise, I suppose you'd have to metagame a bit and play NE alignment.
In these cases it isn't an issue with the world dynamic, but engine limits in NWN.

Avlis may have been around for 10+ years, but the number of gods I've actually developed is about what we've got here on this thread. If you find that your alignment is not represented for the druid you want to play, speak to me because I have a few more not-so-developed gods on hand as well.

Siphrious, the quote you reference above may have seemed to come from Manuel, but the author is most definitely Orleron. He's the head honcho around here, and while he does invite people to broach this subject with him, your inquiry might not get top priority. If Dagath isn't your thing, it might be best to come up with a different character idea.

Alrighty Ill e-mail him. Dagath seems like an interesting choice, but I still would like to see if there is any possible options first.

Would have helped to know that Im not supposed to ask Oreleion but rather ask the team. Im new here and its not like Ive read every topic on these fourms. I waited a week only to find a tpoic saying NOT to ask Oreleion anything.
Thanks for nothing. I know thats harsh but thats true.

The lack of posts from others between your last two posts would indicate that no one saw your post about emailing Orl. You are posting in a subforum, and there is currently a bug with our boards where we are not shown when there is a new post in this forum by looking at the main forums page.
I would suggest that if you are polite and patient you will get much farther. In the past, DMs have been known to go to bat for players and get answers to these questions from Orl.
