The World of Avlis

I am an avid neverwinter nights player but I am relatively new on Avlis. I have a level three rogue right now, playing in Elysia. I've had trouble finding quality weapons and armour. The shops in the city have pretty lame items and I was wondering where I could find some better equipment. I have also noticed that many characters have customized clothing such as cloaks and capes. I'm not sure how to produce or obtain such clothing, could anyone help me. Also, I am interested in joining a rogue guild. How do I go about doing this? Thanks.

You find better items by trading with other people rather than merchants. Merchants are generally lowest level equiptment. To join a guild, simply ask around in character.

These PC's are either somehow involved in one of the armies fighting in the war, have purchased non standard (i.e. not in the Bioware Palette) gear, or have travelled to another CoPaP world that supports Bioware crafting and armor customization.

There are more organisations than the armies that have cloaks on their gear.

There are organized rogue guilds in Elysia and and Mikona. Both have different personalities and aims. Do a search on the boards, and ask around in game. Obviously, if you want to stay in Elysia, it's going to be difficult to meet the guild in Mikona. Good luck!
