Wondering about God for Half-Ogre

I am really thinking of playing a half-ogre but I am working on his bio and I was wondering which deity would the half-ogre's hold.. I would think it would be the god/goddess of strength but I didn't see one on the chart. The closest I found was Ra-ghul. I figure I will be a good character since I have a hard time playing evil

Any suggestions would be great appreciated...

I think the Chaotic Evil god Maleki. He's the god of Giant Kin. But of course you do not have to follow the deity of your own race. Do whatever suits you the best.
EDIT: also since you are an HALF-ogre you could just as easily go with the deity of your non-ogre parent.

I think Ra-Ghul, god of berserkers and war, is a great choice. Ra-Ghul himself is Chaotic Neutral, but surely he can have some Chaotic Good worshippers.

What is the favoried class for half-orgers? Mine is pure fighter right now, but a little Barb might be nice to add. Rage just makes sence for a half-orger.

There are no favorite classes in avlis.
Unless someone has scripted that OnCreatureDeath
well let me give you an example you kill a rat
you gain 0 experience points
you gain 4 experience points
the first one is the bioware xp wich has been turned to 0% and the other one is an script scripted in the creatures on OnDeath scripts
as far as i know this is how its done

please correct me if im wrong.

What does any of this have to do with favoured classes anyway? And they really are there, in fact they are a nessecary part of the NWN engine probably...

well in nwn crossing with an favored class with a second class
(as in dwarf wizard/rogue) would gain 20% less xp or something like that.
or im i just mad? errm i could be wrong.... please correct me if i am!
im just so...so... nuts! ( need more avlis obviusly

)
of course there are "favored" classes but umm never seen people who care much about them (even if there is multiclassing penalty and why should they?).
Well in Avlis faq it says that preferred class for half-ogres is fighter.
argh i should shut up now thank you...

You are right on that. If you multiclass and two non-favoured classes are more then 1 level from eachother you get a 20% xp penalty.

Likely...

Favoured classes also tell something about the race I think. If the favoured class is barbarian for instance, it's usually because it's a primitive race.

And thats the answer we've been looking for.

Multiclass penalty is "#%#. It means you get 0 xp for lot of stuff, and 1 xp for lots of other stuff. For people who actually like to advance with their characters, it's very annoying. And you can get it from a bug even if you are within your favored classes..

favorite classes and the 2 lines of XPp have nothing to do with each other

Well from the generalized perspective, Ogres are Giantkin, and as such, would mostly worship Maleki.
Then again, since the char is Half-Ogre, and the other half is probably Orc, (since, you know, what other Medium sized race could handle an Ogre?) could be a worshipper of Valok, (who created the Orcs) The'ton, Gruumsh... hell, anyone, really.
It all depends on what alignment you want to play. My preferred methodology is to figure out what the character's personality is like, and what their specific moral compass would entail. From that, narrow it to a few alignments while thinking up what class(es) would best suit the character's style, and then figure out the specific alignment. From there, you've got a pretty focused selection of Gods/Goddesses your character can worship.
Conversely you could say "Hey, I want to make a worshipper of Xenon" and then specifically pick everything else based on that... probably some sort of druid, going on to shifter, or just have the character contract lycanthropy, in this case.
Either way, don't stress too much about it... just pick something you think will be fun, don't be too worried about someone being an alignment or god nazi and saying you can't worship ____ god because you are ____ class/race. Alignment often does matter, however, except for Dagath or Mikon, who accept any alignment. (Dagath's Orders are alignment dependent, however)
Hope that helps, welcome to Avlis.

Thanks to everyone for the help so far... the arguments for each are very convincing for each
