The World of Avlis

I'd love to hear some more about these loveable nomads, whenever time permits. For example, what their general attitudes are toward certain things like: the elves, the war, magic, city guards, the city of mikona, the city of elysia, drugs, the rogue's guild, gnomes (just kidding), etc. Do they have their own language? I stumbled across a website about "Romani" with some typical names, expressions, and customs. I'll post it below, in case it's usable or helpful:
