Re: Oriental type characters

Following on from a discussion in the Random Discussions forum there seems to be some interest in oriental characters - primarily samurais. I know that there is already one samurai-based character wandering around out there. I was wondering whether there is any oriental land in the game which we co...

PADRIR: More maps of Mikona, plus a few changes...

Hey all. I have added two more maps to the database: government district and market district (very comprehensive). I also deleted the housing from the City Gates and Garrison and have changed the site to add more information. If you want to get involved with this project, just send me an email and l...

I only partially agree with your point. I completely understand that it could be a game spoiler and that's too bad if someone follows the wrong links. I shall add a disclaimer to the top of my website very shortly. Now there are two ways to correctly utilize this information that I am providing. 1) ...

These are great. You are quite the artist. I have two suggestions for ease-of-use.... First, in your key you show buildings as a white "a", but on the map they are white nubmers. I suggest you change the key to a white numbers for sake of consistency. Second, you have labled the enterance to every ...

PADRIR: Mikona Map Project, check it out.

Okay guys, I have started a really ambitious and very time consuming project so I hope you will enjoy it. I am going to slowly make area maps for all of the cities and areas in the entire Avlis world! This, of course will take a while, so I will begin with Mikona. Here is a link to the first map: Th...

Just roleplay and have fun. That's all anyone asks for. Anything else is just fluff. Have fun on Avlis and look Padrir up in the game, he's always willing to perform for people.

I agree - excellent !! The maps on your site are really good. If we could have one that's more of a geographical one with hills, forests, rivers etc - that would be truly outstanding. One question for the DM's - are these maps purely for OOC knowledge, or is the information on them available in say...

I will have to supply you with a map of the rivers. I have one someplace. The border between T'Nanshi and Toran Shaarda is actually a river. The river flows south out of lake Eridanus which exists between Elysia and Ferrell. Eridanus is fed by a few smaller streams and an underground aquifier. Hone...

I'll start soon. I just wanted to make sure that everything else was perfect before I moved on. It is difficult to constantly change one map and have it also affect other maps.

1) Galdos does not go out to the east the way you have it there. Between the southern border of Jechran and Drotid is a swampy wasteland area called The Wastelands. This is all that blackish gray area on my map. So you're saying that The Wastelands are not currently claimed by anyone, is this corre...

PADRIR: Map of the cities.

Another map from Padrir, Wandering Songsmith. Note that this is supposed to work in conjunction with my previous map, the political map which can be found here: http://www.avlis.org/viewtopic.php?t=16256. The colors match the ones on that map. Also note that I now have a website which I will update ...
