I got it! here was the problem: 1} the software failed loading from the CD that cane with the card. 2} I goggled for drivers and found a "ATI Catalyst 6.6" {google it} and that got it working. woo hoo!! thanks peoples...... this seems to be a common problem from whats on the google results.. cheers ...

Ok, I just updated the direct X from microsoft. I am still getting the same issue which is: Screen is crystal clear, no black spots, no color fade / change. but the pointer and the charcters move like an old book i once had with a charcter drawn on each page and you have to flip the pages fast to se...

Recently installed, I am not sure if there is a specific setting someone out there may know.
